Corinne Bohrer is an American movie and television actress and writer possibly best known for playing Winnie Goodwinn on the short-lived 90s series "Free Spirit" as well as roles in "The Flash" and "Veronica Mars."
Bohrer was born October 18, 1958 in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. One of several children bounced around the country by her parents, she was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Billings, Montana and Arlington, Texas, where she attended Lamar High School, becoming active in drama, band and student government. She later attended the University of Texas at Arlington to study journalism, but she never graduated. While in college, she worked as a model and dancer, later getting involved in making commercials for Totinos Pizza Rolls, Walgreens, Campbell Soup, Bounty paper towels, Wendys and Apple computers.
As an actress, she made appearances in the TV shows "Falcon Crest," "Making the Grade," "The Powers of Matthew Star," "T.J. Hooker" and "MacGyver," later getting roles in the movies "Beach Girls," "Zapped!" with Scott Baio and Willie Aames, "Bare Essence," "My Favorite Year," "The Kid with the 200 I.Q." and "Joysticks." Between 1984 and 1985, she played Nurse Cory Smith in the short-lived medical comedy "E/R" with actor Elliott Gould before starring in the feature film "Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol." From 1989 to 1990, she had the starring role as sorceress Winnie Goodwinn on the short-lived comedy, "Free Spirit."
After appearing in the movie, "We'll Take Manhattan," Bohrer played the now iconic role of Prank, a sidekick to the Trickster on the 90s superhero series, "The Flash," a role she reprised years later on the CW reboot "The Flash." She also had appearances in the shows "Dream On," "Herman's Head" and had another starring role in the short-lived series, "Man of the People" with James Garner and Kate Mulgrew.
In 1995, she had another role in a short-lived series "Double Rush," but she continued making appearances in TV shows such as "Diagnosis Murder," "Friends," "Ned and Stacey" and "Murder, She Wrote" before getting a recurring role in the series "Partners" with Jon Cryer. She also recieved roles in the movies "Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love," "Under Wraps" and "Star Kid," but most of her work was on television, playing roles in "Will & Grace," "Rude Awakening," "Joan of Arcadia" and recurring parts in "Veronica Mars" and "Murder in the First."
She has also appeared in the movies "Dead Solid Perfect" with Randy Quaid, "Vice Versa" with Judge Reinhold and Fred Savage, "Big Eden" and "Phantom of the Megaplex."
