Frank Schofield is an American character actor probably best known for his roles in 1960s daytime dramas, such as "Dark Shadows," "Days of Our Lives," "Somerset" and "The Secret Storm."
Not much is known about his life and career. His earliest role was in the TV series "Search for Tomorrow" in 1951, followed by roles in "The Alcoa Hour," "Robert Montgomery Presents" and an uncredited part in the movie "The Wrong Man."
His TV career was followed by roles in "The Phil Silvers Show," "Armstrong Circle Theatre," "Our Five Daughters," "Naked City," "The Doctors," "The Patriots Days of Our Lives" and "Somerset." His movie roles included "The Patriot" and "The Outlaw Josey Wales" with Clint Eastwood. He is possibly best known for playing Collins Enterprises foreman Bill Malloy in a 1966 story arc on the iconic Sixties series "Dark Shadows" in the early black and white episodes of the series.
