Glenn Dixon was an American film actor best known for his movie appearances through the late Fifties.
Dixon was born on December 27, 1917 in Mississippi as Granville Roger Dixon and later moved to California, attending three years at Beverly Hills High School. He also served in the Air Force from 1942 to 1945, becoming an actor and starring in several science fiction movies, including "Space Patrol," "Voodoo Island" and "Untamed Youth." His career later moved to television, gaining him parts on "Sea Hunt," "M Squad," "Highway Patrol," "The Bill Cosby Show," "Night Gallery," 'Alias Smith and Jones, "Simon & Simon" and "Dynasty" with Emma Samms.
During the 70s and 80s, he worked as a waiter and sometimes maitre d' at Chasin's Restaurant between acting roles. He passed away November 24, 1991 in Santa Monica, California from pneumonia.
