Russell Trent was an American comedy actor possibly best known for his appearances on "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show" and "The Jack Benny Show."
Not much is known about his life and career. His first appearance was an uncredited part in the 1945 Shemp Howard short "Off Again, On Again," which was followed up by appearances in "The Lone Ranger" TV series and roles in "The Strip," "The Well," "Shadow in the Sky" and "Bronco Buster." He continued to make appearances on TV in "The Ford Television Theatre," "The Burns and Allen Show," "Sky King," "Public Defender" and "Dragnet." Later TV roles included "Perry Mason," "Life of Riley," "The Twilight Zone," "Rawhide" and "The Big Valley." In 1959, he starred with Lou Costello, Dorothy Provine, Gale Gordon and Joey Faye in the 1959 cult hit, "The Thirty Foot Bride of Candy Rock."
He passed away at the age of 70 in Los Angeles, California on December 7, 1972.
