Jack's Ferrari

The Ferrari was the chosen sports car for Jack Gable around Ashford Falls in his attempts to woo the heart of local heiress Rachel Hedison. Weighing 1,940 lbs and 170.3 inches long, it was a 250 GT0 Ferrari sports car with a two-door berlinetta-class style body. It was powered by a 300 horsepower Tipo 168/62 Comp. 3.0 L V12 engine capable of speeds up to 174 miles an hour.
Seemingly turning up mysteriously on the second day of Jack's visit to Ashford Falls as a replacement for his regular car, Jack donated the Ferrari to raise funds in an auction for the Ashford Falls Library run by Pastor Charles Hegg. One of the first to bid on it was Dr. Alan Fairwood, followed by Dr. Paul Kirkwood as a gift to Rachel, but Jack outbid him for it. In a further odd sequence of events, Jack was able to take Rachel in a drive in the car through Wyckoff Road. He later lamented the car wasn't an automatic, being unfamiliar on how to operate the five-speed transmission. Driving it to the Hedison Mansion for Rachel's Engagement Party, Jack briefly hit Blake Hedison while backing the car out afterward.
Turning up in the Hedison's garage afterward, the Ferrari turned up driven by Rachel for a while until Janet DuBois confronted her with the mystery of Jack's disappearance. Rather than be faced with a murder investigation, Rachel hesitantly surrendered the car to her. However, also being unfamiliar with the transmission, Janet stored it in the garage at her house where Daniel Featherstone found it during their relationship. While driving the car, Danny accidentally struck Rachel coming out of the New York Delicatessen, causing a head injury that placed her in a coma that lasted over a year.
Stored in Janet's garage again, it was borrowed by Danny several times and also by Dr. Elizabeth Freeling, who tried to buy it. It's whereabouts since then are unrevealed.
