William Rollins is an American TV actor best known for his role as Jason Pryde on "Beyond Our Dreams."
Rollins was born September 25, 1980 in Springwood, Ohio, he grew up in a sports-oriented family. His father, Jack Rollins, was a high school football coach at Bates High School, and his mother, Janet Rollins, was a kindergarten teacher. He had three older sisters named Christine, Cynthia and Teresa.
At the age of eight, Rollins starred in a series of commercials for the Weston Hills Zoo that lead to commercials for Toyota, Burger King, Pepsi and Delta Airlines. The Pepsi commercials were so popular that he was cast as Jason Pryde, the childhood friend of Marcia Caldwell on the daytime drama, Beyond Our Dreams, later replacing Jeremy Lookinland as Billy Dillon, the son of Carter Dillon on the 1983 to 1994 Western comedy, "Psycho Dad."
While starring on both shows, Rollins lived on Staten Island with his Aunt Catherine Bartilson, a television writer, near the home of actress McKenzie Olsen, who played Mae Tisdale on Beyond Our Dreams, spending his hiatuses at home in Ohio. However, both shows were cancelled by 1994 and he returned home.
Attending Bates High School in his teens, William played football briefly until an injury wrecked his ankle. He then started getting into making short films, mostly about the legend of Freddie Krueger, the 1960s serial killer who once terrorized Springwood, Illinois. He dabbled in acting again with Beyond Our Dreams: Return to Ashford Falls, and roles in "Eddie vs Johnny," "Kenny Saves The World" and the film version of "Psycho Dad" with actress Alyssa Rees-Jones. He also did seven episodes of the paranormal documentary, "Most Haunted Houses," with his former "Dreams" co-star Maddie Bouchard, the two of them briefly dating.
Rollins has since been making short horror films and comedy skits.
