Born Geralyn Mae Betzler on May 27, 1966 in New Prague, Wisconsin she was described as a remarkable child and a brilliant, determined, independent woman. In Los Angeles, Zoe enrolled in acting and ballet classes, starting her acting career in 1985 with TV roles, such as a part as Lacey Bauer in the daytime drama, "Guiding Light."
